Teacher's Day!

Teachers' Day was instituted to give recognition to teachers men and women with the noble work of educating new generations.

In many countries the "teacher day" is celebrated on different dates. But in Ecuador takes place only on 13 April each year, the date decreed by President Alfredo Baquerizo Moreno in tribute to the writer Juan Montalvo who was born on the same date.

Exactly the day the teacher does not have a meal special. But in many places this is celebrated with a family meal or educational institutions are organizing a present.
