¡¡¡¡MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
The word Christmas comes from the word "Nativity," which comes from "Nativitatem" Latin meaning "birth". In the religious world the birth of "Jesus Christ" is celebrated. According to the Encyclopedia BARSA ... this celebration became widespread in the fourth century (four) as they do not really know the birth of Jesus, the Catholic Church finally adopted on 25 December.
In Ecuador, as in most countries, the Christmas turkey with rice, potatoes, salads and what you want to put on the menu eating. some families have a habit of eating your Christmas cookies or chocolates, but the case is so typical for sweets, chocolates, candies, cookies, etc.

Their parties at Quito !! 

This party started in the 50s and 60s: During the Republican era That date was just another day on the calendar.



But in 1956 Cesar Castillo and Jaime Larrea took care to make the first Quito serenade, who started La Ronda , after the city began to have its permanent festivities.




And With the excitement of the people it Became the night of December 6 in a matter of arrangements, feasting, dancing and music.



The sandwiches of ham, dry goat, locro potatoes, hornado broth leg ....and morocho are tradionales are one of the highlights of this city and the most enjoyable these festivals are: Fresh figs, craft beers, the canelazo, etc.
